Where our data comes from
Transparency is a product feature, not a footnote. Every supplier profile shows its source URLs, its confidence score and the fixed provenance wording: Aggregated from public domain records & website parsing
Collection sources
- Public customs trade records
- Industry exhibition catalogues
- Open company directories
- Company websites
Collection rules
- robots.txt is respected for every host we fetch from
- Requests are rate limited
- A clearly identified User-Agent is sent
- We never bypass a login or paywall
- We never collect non-public personal information
Processing pipeline
- 1
AI judgement
A first pass decides whether the record is a chemical supplier at all, excluding pure trading companies and equipment vendors.
- 2
Entity extraction
Founding year, capacity, address, website, public email and product catalogue are extracted, each with an evidence URL and a confidence score.
- 3
Cleaning, mapping & de-duplication
Products are mapped to standard categories, CAS numbers are validated with a strict pattern, and records are merged on company name + address + website.
- 4
Profile generation
Profiles are stored as unclaimed by default and always carry the provenance wording shown below.
- 5
Human review
Any record below the confidence threshold is queued for a human operator. It is not published and not submitted to search engines until approved.
Corrections and deletion requests
If a record about your company is inaccurate, or you want it removed, email hello@factoryauditb2b.com or submit a request through the privacy page. We review every request and record the outcome in our audit log.
